A Warm Highland Welcome
In this Scottish Estate’s double-height entrance hall, @edwardbulmerpaint‘s ‘Jonquil’ wraps the space in a soft pink - a heartfelt nod to our client’s childhood home in Aryshire. Paired with a classic Scottish tartan stair runner, it sets the tone for an enfilade of principal rooms leading to the garden beyond. Bold yet inviting, it’s a colour choice that makes an unforgettable first impression.

A Sims Hilditch Study
Working closely with our client, who has a fluent and instinctive understanding of design, the aim for this Perthshire project was to create a cosy, layered and welcoming home that would become his families’ main residence.
At the heart of the house, the library sets the decorative tempo for the rooms beyond. Lined in bold red and green @lamaisonpierrefrey fabric, it’s a richly layered space that bridges the formal and informal, flowing through to the drawing room, with doors curving open to the garden, and a concealed entrance to the kitchen.
Traditional in feel but designed to push the boundaries, this is a room that captures the spirit of the whole home - textural, expressive, and full of personality.
